Here’s a simple recipe for Paneer Ki Sabji (Paneer Curry)


1.200g paneer (cottage cheese), cubed
2.2 tbsp oil
3.1 onion, finely chopped
4.1 tomato, finely chopped
5.1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
6.1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
7.1/2 tsp cumin seeds
8.1/2 tsp turmeric powder
9.1 tsp coriander powder
10.1/2 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
11.1/2 tsp garam masala
12.Salt to taste
13.2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)


1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
2.Add chopped onions and sauté until they become golden brown.
3.Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
4.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.
5.Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6.Add the cubed paneer and gently mix to coat the paneer with the masala.
7.Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the paneer is well-cooked and the flavors are infused.
8.Sprinkle garam masala and mix it in.
9.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
10.Serve the delicious Paneer Ki Sabji hot with roti, naan, or rice.
