Here’s a simple recipe for Paneer Ki Sabji (Paneer Curry)
Ingredients:
1. | 200g paneer (cottage cheese), cubed |
2. | 2 tbsp oil |
3. | 1 onion, finely chopped |
4. | 1 tomato, finely chopped |
5. | 1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste) |
6. | 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste |
7. | 1/2 tsp cumin seeds |
8. | 1/2 tsp turmeric powder |
9. | 1 tsp coriander powder |
10. | 1/2 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste) |
11. | 1/2 tsp garam masala |
12. | Salt to taste |
13. | 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish) |
Instructions:
1. | Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. |
2. | Add chopped onions and sauté until they become golden brown. |
3. | Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears. |
4. | Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate. |
5. | Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. |
6. | Add the cubed paneer and gently mix to coat the paneer with the masala. |
7. | Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the paneer is well-cooked and the flavors are infused. |
8. | Sprinkle garam masala and mix it in. |
9. | Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. |
10. | Serve the delicious Paneer Ki Sabji hot with roti, naan, or rice. |
