The latest figures for motorcycle sales in January 2024 highlight the top-performing bikes in the market. Leading the sales chart was the Hero Splendor, closely followed by the Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar, and Hero HF Deluxe.
Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor secured the top position with 255,122 units sold, showing a slight decline of 2.5% compared to the same period last year when 261,833 units were sold. The Honda Shine claimed the second spot with 145,252 units sold, marking an impressive year-on-year increase of 45.4%, largely attributed to the introduction of the Honda Shine 100 model.
Bajaj Pulsar occupied the third position with 128,883 units sold, reflecting a robust year-on-year growth of nearly 53% in the domestic market. The Hero HF Deluxe followed closely in fourth place, experiencing a significant surge in sales by 64.6% compared to the previous year.
The TVS Raider 125 secured the fifth spot, with 43,331 units sold, registering a notable year-on-year increase of over 59%. Further down the list, Bajaj Auto’s Platina claimed the sixth position, with 33,013 units sold, albeit experiencing a negative growth of 21.1%.
The TVS Apache series occupied the seventh position, with 31,222 units sold, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period last year. The Hero Passion series witnessed a remarkable surge in sales, landing in the eighth spot with a staggering year-on-year growth of 734.2%.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350, a popular choice among enthusiasts, claimed the ninth position with 28,013 units sold, exhibiting a modest year-on-year growth of 7.1%. Finally, the Honda Unicorn rounded up the top ten list with 18,506 units sold last month.
