Unveiled: Honda's Game-Changing 2024 CBR400R - Is India Next?

Honda Unveils Updated 2024 CBR400R: Is It Coming to India?

Honda has recently unveiled the 2024 version of its CBR400R, showcasing a refreshed design, upgraded technology, and improved performance. Scheduled for release on March 21, this sportbike is set to make an impact in the Japanese market with its stylish appearance and advanced features.

Featuring subtle design tweaks around the headlamp, inspired by the flagship CBR1000RR-R, the CBR400R sports a 5-inch Bluetooth-enabled TFT instrument console. With the integration of the Honda RoadSync app, riders can enjoy seamless smartphone connectivity for calls, messages, music, and navigation.

Available in two attractive liveries – red with white and blue graphics, and matte black – the CBR400R boasts aerodynamic sculpting and strategically placed ducts for enhanced agility. Despite its sporty profile, the seating position offers a comfortable balance between agility and comfort.

Powered by a 399cc parallel-twin engine producing 45.4 bhp and 38 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox, the CBR400R promises exhilarating performance. Additionally, it comes equipped with a traction control system for enhanced safety on low-traction surfaces.

While the CBR400R is currently exclusive to the Japanese market, with no immediate plans for an Indian launch, enthusiasts are hopeful for its arrival. With its competitive pricing of 863,500 yen (approximately Rs. 4.77 lakh) in Japan, it could have posed a challenge to popular models in India.

Although Indian riders may have to wait for the CBR400R, there are expectations for the introduction of other Honda models like the CBR500R and CBR650R later this year. Stay tuned for updates!
