Royal Enfield January 2024 Sales Overview: Classic, Bullet, Himalayan
Royal Enfield’s sales data for January 2024 showcases the Classic 350 as the top performer, closely followed by the Bullet 350.
Royal Enfield has started the year on a strong note, demonstrating impressive sales figures both domestically and in exports. January 2024 saw a notable increase in overall sales, reinforcing the brand’s dominance in the premium motorcycle segment of the Indian market.
Domestic Sales:
The Classic 350 leads the domestic sales charts with a 7.19% increase compared to January 2023, selling 29,013 units. The Bullet 350 also experienced significant growth with a 12.21% surge in sales. However, the Hunter 350 faced a downturn with an 18.33% decrease in sales.
In contrast, the Himalayan saw a remarkable 33.25% increase in sales, indicating a growing interest in adventure bikes. Additionally, the 650 twins – Continental GT and Interceptor – witnessed a substantial 129.8% increase in sales, reflecting a rising demand for higher displacement models.
On the other hand, the Super Meteor experienced a 35.3% decline in sales, highlighting the challenges of introducing a new model. Sales figures for the Shotgun 650 have not been disclosed.
Exports from India:
International exports of the 650 twins saw a modest 11.57% decline. Despite this, models like the Meteor 350 enjoyed an 86.1% increase in exports.
While the Classic 350 saw a decrease in exports, it remains popular globally. The Super Meteor witnessed a marginal decline, whereas the Hunter 350, Bullet 350, and Himalayan experienced significant decreases in exports. Sales figures for the Shotgun 650 have not been disclosed.
