skoda octavia facelift 2024 revealed

Skoda has revealed design sketches for the forthcoming 2024 Octavia facelift, scheduled for its global debut in the coming weeks. This marks the first facelift for the fourth-generation Octavia, which was introduced in 2020 and has been a top seller for the brand. Alongside a teaser video offering a glimpse of the sedan’s new design, these sketches provide insight into the expected changes.

A quick look at the sketches suggests that while the new Octavia retains the overall styling of the outgoing model, there are significant updates aimed at refreshing the sedan’s identity. The signature Skoda grille receives subtle modifications and is accompanied by sharper LED headlamps featuring the brand’s new Crystallinium element.

Further improvements include redesigned bumpers to enhance the car’s sporty appeal, while new alloy wheels, a prominent waistline, and a gently sloping roofline contribute to its dynamic stance. Although the taillights remain largely unchanged, the bumper boasts sharper creases that complement the sedan’s overall aesthetic.

While details about the interior remain undisclosed, expect minor updates such as new upholstery and a larger infotainment system, along with features borrowed from the latest Superb and Kodiaq models.

In addition to the standard version, the 2024 Octavia will offer high-performance RS and Sportline variants. Powertrain options are expected to remain consistent with the current lineup, which includes various engine and gearbox combinations such as turbo-petrol mild-hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and turbo diesel engines.
